Spectre Divide - Mill Assets

Some of my asset and material work for the Mill map for Spectre Divide.

The majority of our assets in Spectre Divide are made using trim sheets and tiling textures with procedural materials instead of unique textures. Rust, grime, color, and paint are all generated procedurally in the materials to achieve many different styles and looks without the need for unique textures. While this workflow does have some drawbacks, it is vastly more efficient in our engine and allows us to create many props and assets more quickly with a high level of consistency.
